NORTHWEST MEET 2017
ANACORTES, WA | AUGUST 2017
The 2017 NW Meet was a great success and much fun for all who participated. The meet drew over 100 Chevrolets from throughout the Northwest and a few from as far away as Arizona and California. We had a VCCA contingent from Canada and a visit by our national President, Jim Gebhardt who joined us from Roswell, Georgia.
While there were many activities, the schedule allowed for time to relax and just enjoy being surrounded by great Chevrolets friends and great cars and trucks. Several of the meet tours were through the beautiful Skagit valley farm lands. All the Chevys kept up the pace, including the oldest, a 1922 490 Roadster!
The event included judging, and our own, Bruce DeFord, Jr. took Best in Show, People’s Choice for his 1932 Chevrolet Landau Phaeton. Bruce will be in possession of the coveted GM of Canada trophy until the next NW Meet, planned for Chehalis, Washington in 2018.
Congratulations to all the members of the North Cascades Region for putting on a great meet.
