NW MINI MEET

Chehalis, WA | JUNE 2018

Hooray for Hollywood! An experience we’ll not soon forget. Over 200 people got involved to make this a resounding success. Oh sure, some folks had to drive in sprinkles to the Red Barn (hay mow) Banquet on Friday. Some got a little damp on the live orchestra presentation and BBQ on Saturday. And some didn’t read the directions for the tour, but all in all, everyone buckled up and came out smiling. A visit to the old car exhibit of Dick Busek, a drive to see red, black, and grey wolves (see Wolf Haven),and a scenic tour of the logging town of Morton all added to the excitement. “Too much to do, too little time,” was the comment heard often. Then too, we spent time working puzzles of wolfs, barns, and bridges in the Hospitality Room. The advertised description of the meet was wrong. This involved a Major Meet that ended with a delightful ending on a Saturday night as our old cars were displayed for Chehalis residents on Market Street. Next year we’ll gather in Albany, Oregon for our 2019 NW Meet and do it again!
