Selling Wasn’t Just for the Cars! The Columbia River Region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America had a booth at the Mecum Auction in Portland again this year. Arranged by the national VCCA, our booth was an excellent way to promote our club, both regionally and nationally. We shared space with several other car clubs, and it was fun getting to know them. Our booth was right next to a very early Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which did get folks to slow down as they headed for the main hall for the auctions. We did sign up a several new members.

The Mecum Auction is held each year at the Portland EXPO center. Besides being a great auction (as many have seen on TV) it is a massive car show with around 600 cars and trucks. Members of VCCA can get a free pass to go to the auction, a big thanks to Mecum! Looking forward to next year.
