Ing Apple Tour

The Apple Tour has become a special event for our club. Ed and Melissa Ing have invited our club to their home and apple orchard in Hood River for several years now. Ed’s father was a member of VCCA, and after his passing, son Ed has kept contact with our club and a tour was proposed. The club met up in Troutdale and followed the Historic Columbia River Highway towards Hood River. A stop at the Bonneville Dam gave members a chance to see the fish ladders and the famous resident sturgeon. At the Ing’s home, apple picking by the members ensued along with a great luncheon prepared by Melissa. Thanks to the Ings again for a wonderful day in the orchards of Hood River.
