2016 National Meet | Lake Tahoe

A view from the MontBleu Hotel & Casino in Stateline, Nevada

Every 5 years, the national Vintage Chevrolet Club of America holds a national meet. The national meets are held in all parts of the U.S. For 2016, the VCCA National Meet was held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Members from throughout the U.S. and internationally converged at Lake Tahoe for a week of tours, seminars, banquets, judging, and a lot of kicking tires and renewing old friendships.

The display of the hundreds of cars and trucks at the meet headquarter hotel’s parking lot was spectacular. They came from throughout the country, some by trailer, others driven all the way from the east coast.

The Columbia River Region had 56 members make the journey from the Northwest. Some went on tours that included driving around the lake, visiting the National car museum in Reno, and a trip to historic Carson City. Some members had their cars go through national judging. It was a truly memorable event!
