Meet at the Target Store at 1555 N Tomahawk Island Dr. (Jantzen Beach Portland Oregon) for a one-hour drive. Since there are a variety of trees along the way, hopefully there will be some fall colors to be seen. After driving for a while we will be stopping for 15 minutes to enjoy a view of the Willamette River from Cathedral Park. Restrooms are available there. From there we will tour to Peace Lutheran Church, which is our monthly meeting place.
Members of Peace Lutheran put on an Oktoberfest meal each year and were kind enough to move it from their usual Friday to Saturday to accommodate our club. The meal consists of sausage, sauerkraut, scalloped potatoes, and green beans. A variety of desserts, as well as coffee or punch, is included.
Still hoping for an accordionist to play us a few Oktoberfest tunes, or if not we will have some prerecorded music to enjoy. I am working on a fun but simple game that I am hoping many of you will participate in.

3:30pm Arrive at Peace Lutheran Church

4pm Dinner starts
